OKX Prop Firm — trade a funded crypto challenge
ZoneX is an exchange-agnostic crypto prop trading firm. Configure a Challenge on OKX live market data, prove your edge in one simulated evaluation phase, then go through the funded-stage review.
Perpetuals · Futures · Spot · Account sizes $5,000 to $400,000 · Independent of OKX
What a “OKX prop firm” actually means
OKX covers a wide altcoin perpetual list alongside major pairs. A ZoneX Challenge on OKX live market data lets you prove your edge on exactly those instruments.
OKX itself does not fund traders. What traders search for is a proprietary trading firm whose evaluation runs on the OKX market they already trade — and, ideally, one that also lets them keep trading their own OKX account in the same interface. That is what ZoneX provides.
Traders rotating across OKX majors and altcoin perpetuals who need a rule set that allows real strategy rather than a narrow symbol whitelist.
How the ZoneX Challenge works
1. Build your Challenge
Pick OKX as your market, your account size between $5,000 to $400,000, spot or futures, and your performance split.
2. Pass one simulated phase
Hit the profit target without breaching the daily drawdown floor or total loss limit. No minimum trading days, no deadline, no consistency rule.
3. Funded-stage review
Passing opens a review. A funded arrangement starts only once the funded-stage documents are accepted and the account is activated.
- Every trade needs a stop-loss; risk per trade is capped by your trading style.
- A fixed daily drawdown floor recalculates from each new daily starting balance at 02:00 CET.
- Free Challenge retry is available under the published retry conditions.
- Performance split is the percentage selected at purchase, and applies only after a separate funded-stage review.
Simulated evaluation vs. your own OKX account
Challenge: a paid simulated evaluation. It prices against OKX live market data, but orders never reach OKX and evaluation profits are not withdrawable.
ZoneX Terminal: free, non-custodial software. Connect your own OKX account via API — trading enabled, withdrawals disabled — and your assets stay on OKX.

Frequently asked questions
Is there a prop firm for OKX traders?
Yes. ZoneX is an exchange-agnostic crypto prop trading firm and OKX is one of its 10 supported exchanges. You choose OKX when you configure your Challenge, and the evaluation runs as a simulated account on OKX live market data.
Do my orders go to OKX during the Challenge?
No. A ZoneX Challenge is always a simulated evaluation. It uses OKX live market data for pricing, but no order reaches OKX and no money of yours is traded. Live execution on your own OKX account happens only in the standalone ZoneX Terminal, using your own API connection.
Can I connect my own OKX account?
Yes, in the free ZoneX Terminal. You create an API key on OKX with trading enabled and withdrawals disabled, and your assets stay in your own OKX account. That is separate from any Challenge you purchase.
How do I get a funded OKX trading account?
You pass one simulated evaluation phase under the published Challenge Rules. Passing does not automatically create a funded arrangement: it opens a review, and a funded stage begins only after the funded-stage documents are accepted and the account is activated.
Which OKX markets are covered?
Perpetuals · Futures · Spot. Market availability follows what ZoneX supports for OKX at the time you trade.
Is ZoneX affiliated with OKX?
No. ZoneX AG (CHE-192.381.383) is an independent Swiss technology company. OKX is named here only to describe supported market data and Terminal connectivity. All trademarks belong to their respective owners.
